Kandida is from South Cambridge, England, and she has been writing and performing songs for some years. Since obtaining a music degree, she decided to put together a band to get her music heard, through live playing and recording.

Kandida is an accomplished musician, playing keyboards, guitar and wind section. She is happy playing as a solo artist with an acoustic guitar, or as part of a full band. Her music is best described as a mix of pop, rock and folk, drawing influences from both modern and classic artists.
